We are pleased to confirm that swimming lessons have now been arranged at Rhyl Leisure Centre for key stage 2 pupils.
Year 3 and 4 pupils will begin their lessons on Wednesday 14th January 2015.
Pupils in Year 3 and 4 will be having lessons every Wednesday morning for a minimum of 6 weeks. The children will be coached by teaching staff and qualified instructors under the supervision of pool attendants. Pupils will travel to and from Rhyl Leisure Centre for their lessons by coach, accompanied by a class teacher.
Please provide a towel and swimming costume for your child each Wednesday.
There is no longer any funding for swimming lessons so the cost will be met by the school’s delegated budget. It is necessary, however, to ask for a contribution towards the cost of transport of £1 per week.
