DESCRIPTION:We’re very excited to be welcoming GB Invictus Competitor AJ Pingram toYsgol Penmorfa on Thursday\, 15 June. Alistair ‘AJ’ Pingram is a former Royal Marines Engineer. AJ suffered an accident which damaged both of his ankles in 2000 but went on to play Point Guard position in the GB Invictus basketball team. \nAJ will be leading a sponsored fitness circuit with all pupils\, and will follow-up with a talk and question and answer session. The aim of the event is to inspire the pupils to take up sport generally\, but just as importantly to encourage them to discover and then pursue their passion in life. \nAll pupils have been given a sponsor form for the children to raise money for much needed P.E. equipment for school. The equipment will benefit all pupils and we would like to thank you in advance for your support in this really exciting event.
