DESCRIPTION:Swimming lessons have resumed at the Nova Centre in Prestatyn and our year 5 and year 6 pupils will attend each Wednesday for 6 weeks.  They will travel to and from the Nova by coach during the morning session and will be back at school in time for lunch.  There is a charge of £1.00 per week to help towards the cost as there is no longer any funding available for these lessons.

DESCRIPTION:Once again this year we would like to take pupils from year 2 and year 4 to see the Christmas Panto\, “Cinderella”\, at Rhyl Pavilion.  The children will travel by coach during the afternoon leaving school shortly after lunch.  As this is an afternoon performance we will return to school at around 4:00pm and you are asked to make arrangements for your child to be collected at this time.  There is a charge of £10.00 for this visit which will help towards the cost of the transport\, the show ticket and an ice-lolly.

DESCRIPTION:Following the dental screening earlier this term the dentist will be at school to apply Fissure Sealant to pupils’ teeth in year 2\, 3 and 4.  Parents will have the option of being present during the treatment but we have found that children are generally happy to visit the dentist for this with their classmates.  Consent forms will have been signed before any treatment is applied.
