Class 5J have the opportunity to visit the Racecourse Stadium, home of Wrexham FC today as part of the Premier League Primary Stars initiative we are participating in.

They have been focusing on developing their literacy skills during the class based sessions.  The aim of these sessions is focused on developing literacy through the theme of Journalism is Sports.  The pupils worked in groups to collate a journalism project, based on a football match.  The purpose of the visit to the Racecourse is to allow the pupils to use the media facilities at the football club to deliver their presentations.  This is a fantastic and exciting cross curricular learning opportunity for the children. The visit will also include a full stadium tour and a session with the First Team Squad players from Wrexham FC.
